Advertising threads.

I'm sure staff are aware of this but recently there have been lots if advertising posts that have nothing to do with OPBlocks. Is there a way to stop these because they are clogging up the forums with unnecessary posts.

All spam bot posts have to be separately deleted and each user banned.

Unfortunately we don't have a way to clean them automatically yet, so they will be seen by all until deleted by a staff member.

I don't know of a way to stop these but there may be a way to filter them into another area? Do you have any?ideas.

Only thing I can think of is Captcha and email confirmation before being able to create an account.

how about the staff post approval? if you post links right after you got your account you have to wait for a staff to approve it? if its not a link right after you got your account is that good?
